If you’re looking to improve your running or smash your PB’s then I would highly recommend BE Fit Coach, Barrie Evans. Along with a comprehensive weekly running plan Barrie also provides a strength and mobility plan to give you the skills to become a better runner. The plan is in four phases over 16 weeks and each phase has a different duration and a different training focus. As the plan is structured around you as an individual it ensures that you are working at your pace and towards your specific goals. Over the duration of my plan my running improved massively, from my pace to the distance I was achieving each week. I know I would not have achieved these levels without Barrie’s coaching and the amazing support and motivation you get from him.

The improvements in my performance and strength are clear to see, and less injuries which was really important to me. I would recommend Barrie @ BE Fit Coach to anyone who’s serious about their running. I have recently completed a very intensive 12 week coaching sessions with Barrie, my goals were simple become a better, stronger runner, run further, and be as pain free as I can. An initial recorded session helped to assess the areas that needed improvement, the feedback was constructive and tailored to my needs, a video and comparisons of others running techniques helped me see the issues around my form. The session were grouped into 4 areas focussing on the key areas of technique, speed, pace, and endurance, the session are demanding so be prepared. The feedback after each session is great too, once gain very structured and allows you to adapt and gives you a rest of week running plan which I needed. Barrie also provides you with plans to work on at home for strength and stability, these are gold and if you take nothing else from the coaching take note of these, my calf issues are all but gone, I no longer wear in soles or knee supports and will continue with these plans ongoing. My 8 year old son was having really problems with his running , and his feet were pointing in , we spoke to Barrie who had max for some one on one lessons which has changed my son's running and the way he walks. His core strength as improved loads too, Barrie was brilliant , really patient and fun with max who absolutely loved the sessions .
